The World Mourns

         The world is mouring as the coronavirus dieases 19 came uninvited. Novel Coronavirus 19 or we often hear Covid-19 is a virus that first appeared in the seafood market in Wuhan city, China at the end of 2019. Covid-19 is thought to be carried by bats and other animals like snake or mouse that humans eat until transmission occurs. Regardless of whether this information is or not, Covid-19 proves itself capable of being transmitted among people. Initially this virus spread only to a few countries but due to high human mobility, this virus spread rapidly throughout the world. There are 3 countries with the most Covid-19 cases after China, namely Italy, Iran and Spain.

         Fisrt is Italy. Italy is the country with the most cases of Covid-19 after China. An Increase in positive cases of the Covid-19 and high death rates made the Italian government decide of worship and all shops except food stores and pharmacies are closed to prevent the spread of this virus. Based on data from worldometers.infocorona, Italy is ranked second with a total of 41.035 cases and the highest number of deaths surpassing China is 3.405(March,20).worldometers.info And reportedly from AFP, Thursday (March,12), Italian Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, said to close or quarantine the entire region which has population of 60 million people since the beginning of this week. Also on Wednesday(March,11) local time, PM Conte said the decision to close all shops in Italy except pharmacies and food stores for two week. (As reported by AFP on Thursday (3/12/2020), Prime Minister of Italy, Giuseppe Conte, announcd this latest step after imposing lockdown and quarantine on all areas with a population of 60 million people since the beginning of this week.           Second is Iran. Iran in a difficult position. Political tension and epidemics are pressing Iran. Based on data from worldometers.infocorona, Iran is the third most affected country of the Covid-19 after Italy and China with a total of 18.407 cases and the total number of deaths from this virus is 1.284 (March,20).worldometers.info The American government will not lift economic sanctions on Iran even though the Covid-19 attacks Iran. And it will tighten sanctions by putting several companies on the black list due doing business with Iran.           The last is Spain. Spain also follows other countries which lockdown several region to prevent the spread of the Covid-19.          In short, we should not underestimate this virus, there are many cases and its spread is quite easy. Wash your hands frequently and keep your distance from people to avoid this virus. And do not forget to obey the instructions from our government to prevent the spread of this virus.
